Availability of continuous jobs in the villages has always been a challenge is one of major reasons for poverty among rural population. Under the MNREGA scheme, maximum number of workdays assured is only 100 days in a year. If these labourers get another additional 100 workdays, it will definitely eliminate poverty in the rural areas. There are ways and means to improve this situation and our Foundation would like to work with the local self-governments in order to improve this situation through innovative methods.
